We are the leading church bell muffle manufacturer based in the UK.

 

Features:

  • All muffles are tailor-made for the weight of bell and size/shape of clapper
  • Made from 2.0, 2.8, 4.0, 5.0 or 6.0 mm veg-tanned leather hide with bull hide tops all stitched and glued
  • Industrial rivets used for a secure long-lasting product
  • Industrial strength velcro fastening (we do not offer elastic straps for muffles as it degrades over time)
  • All muffles guaranteed against workmanship for 2 years
  • Anti-slip coating to be applied on clappers (available separately)

  • Half muffles for bells
    • up to 25cwt - £38.60 each (£46.32 inc VAT) (one-piece all metal clappers)
    • over 25cwt – price on application
    • for all wooden-shafted or composite clappers - £61.50 each (£73.80 inc VAT)
  • Secondary muffles (for full muffling) *
    • for bells up to 25cwt - £33.74 each (£40.49 inc VAT) (one-piece all metal clappers)
    • over 25cwt – price on application
    • for wooden-shafted or composite clappers - £45.00 each (£55.00 inc VAT) when providing the first half
  • Unusual shaped clappers requiring bespoke solutions – price on application

Next day carriage on all orders is £9.10 (£10.92 inc VAT).

All of our muffles are eligible expenditure under the Listed Places of Worship Scheme for a grant to the value of the VAT charged.

Due to the increasing cost of materials the above prices will be held for all orders raised prior to 20th December 2024.

* you will need to have our half muffles with velcro straps for the secondary muffles to attach. Without the half muffles, there is no way of attaching the secondary muffles to a clapper.

All complete sets of new muffles are supplied in a complimentary embroidered storage bag with carrying strap.
